Afroliteracies' Educator Network
Afroliteracies partners create lessons that embrace the teaching and learning of indigenous African languages alongside dominant languages.
The Afroliteracies Foundation
The Afroliteracies Foundation is a think-tank for indigenous African languages. We engage Africa’s linguistic diversity using a pluralist approach to advance equal educational opportunities.
Our mission is to accelerate literacy for learners in African communities and promote indigenous African languages so that these languages become easily accessible in teaching and learning.
Our vision is to leverage The Afroliteracies Network, a charitable working group of indigenous language experts to develop and innovate mother-tongue based bilingual syllabi for use in education.
